How to mitigate the effects of a video card running for a long time?
Hello! The thing is this:
I need to leave the video card working at maximum power for a long time (do not mine, God forbid), but the process can really last several days. So, how can you reduce the negative consequences of this action for the video card? If, for example, I turn on the fan at 100% or reduce the frequency of the video card by several tens, will this noticeably reduce the consequences or not? And in general, what can you advise on this matter?
PS I apologize for the strange wording of some sentences, I haven't slept for a long time.
PPS I don't know much about this, don't get mad at my ignorance pls :)

Egor Volkov ,
1060 is a rather cold map. At maximum processor operation with 100% cooler speed and the maximum possible overclocking, it reached 65 degrees.
now there are farms with a maximum load with auto-rotations - 75% cooler, 70 degrees card temperature.
It's been working like this for a year now.
So quick tips:
1) check that the case is cooled properly. if it does not have additional coolers, open the lid.
2) overclock the video card if necessary.
3) set cooler curves for your task. above 85% of the cooler there is a lot of noise, so set the curves so that you are comfortable.
4) install a regular fan to blow over the video card if there are no additional coolers at hand.
The main thing is to prevent overheating, everything else is trifles, but after overheating, a slow but sure degradation of the video card chip occurs, and nothing can fix this.
If this is an ordinary computer case and it is very hot at home - open the lid, put it on an ordinary floor fan for 300 rubles from the supermarket - this will make it easier for everyone. The most important thing is not to overheat, after 80 degrees the textolite around the video crystal and memory begins to darken smoothly.
Try to keep the temperature no more than 70 degrees on the crystal / power drivers (VRM), this can be done by adjusting the fan operation curves in MSI Afterburner, you can also manually set the fan speed.
If you have any questions, please contact :)
Here's what to put in
there will be almost no consequences, or they will be critically minimal.
That's all I wanted to say.
Thank you for your attention, all the best.
