How to minimize hard drive access?
The whole system, all software is on the SSD.
The hard drive stores a cloud folder, a downloads folder, and all sorts of media files.
Recently, I noticed that the HDD turns off extremely rarely, i.e. is constantly active, although in fact only three programs wake it up: torrent, chrome when downloading files, and cloud software.
I turned everything off, the hard one is still spinning, but what makes it work is not clear.
Previously, as soon as requests stopped coming to him, he was deaf.
Through the standard resource monitor, I could not find anything, the disk usage is 0% ... I
turned off the indexing on it, I do not need it.
How to "ask" the system to forget about this disk altogether and let only software use it?
