How to merge develop branch from master?

I have many applications, they are all deployed with one script that has variables. The script through values.yaml determines which application needs to be deployed now. Then he climbs the turnip where charts are stored for deployment and starts his work. The question is in the following, in each project I have 2 master branches and develop. I need the develop branch to be automatically merged into the master at the time the script is running in any application that I launch for deployment, but unfortunately when adding the commands git checkout develop git checkout master git merge develop it merges in the turnip where the charts are located, and in the turnip of the application itself, changes are applied only in the develop branch.
