How to manage a second monitor "in place"?

Connected pc to tv in another room via hdmi to watch movies. It became inconvenient to manage it. To turn on something, you have to constantly go to another room. Is there any program that will display an image from the second monitor in a window for me, so that I can see what I'm doing without unnecessary gestures?

Installing OBS helped. I set up the output of the TV screen and I'm watching "transformative viewing."

You didn't connect the PC to the TV, but the TV connected to the PC: D.
Well, how do you imagine duplicating the output on the second monitor on the first monitor? And do not even stutter about the "picture in picture" is completely different and works differently.
Since in this case the TV is only and exclusively a remote display device, "send" full-screen video playback, audio output, etc. to it. Trust the computer, if there are no problems with the output, then everything will be fine.
And if you want to fully work with a remote monitor - start the device (s) of remote input - wireless keyboard / mouse (radio control).
