How to connect a laptop as a second monitor?

Condition . There is a macbook pro (macOS) and a laptop (windows). On the laptop, you can put any other OS, if it helps my task.
Task . Need to expand the screen of the macbook to the screen of the laptop. Please note that I need to expand the screen, that is, to continue the desktop.
I saw how such a problem was solved, provided that the main laptop is on Windows. On the main one, they created an additional "phantom monitor" (ghost monitor) in the display settings and then from the second laptop they connected via teamviewer or vnc to the main one. But on the poppy I did not find how to create a "phantom monitor". Is it possible to do something similar on a Mac?
