How to make your own picture for the elements?

I have custom fields, and each field has an icon on the left (password padlock, etc.)
How can I make a theme for these fields so that I can easily set my own icon for each field later?
And yet, the fields change color when active, the icon should also change color, icons are drawn through drawable, i.e. you need to somehow transfer the color variable to the file depending on the state of the field, or, in extreme cases, have 2 icons
