How to make the Sent folder work properly?

there is a bunch of exim4 + dovecot, everything works fine, but it does not save letters sent via smtp to the sent folder.
The question is, is it possible to save copies of successfully sent letters to the Sent folder on the server side without touching the clients?

Not lordly (MTA) is the business of writing to Sent to shift, this is the concern of MUA. Set up your mail client correctly.
