the extension works only when you click on it in the toolbar, when you refresh the page it stops working, how to make it always work

You need to look in the settings of the extension itself.
If you at least indicated the browser / or a specific extension, then you could specify more specifically where and what to watch.
For example, on Chrome, when you click "manage extension" in the toolbar, and then select "more details" on a specific extension, then there is a sub-item in the menu:

Put "on all sites" here and the extension starts working automatically always. Hope this is of some help.
