How to make system settings in Android via USB (there is no way to enable debugging)?
My Chinese plastic, proudly called Discovery V8, died a long time by issuing a Privacy Protection Password request after changing my SIM card upon arrival in another country. I tried to install through the SP Flash Tool all the firmware that I could find and that were installed under this processor (MT6572). Actually only original ones were installed. But for some reason, a problem arose (the same in all) - the sensor does not work correctly, as if with a shifted coordinate grid (i.e. I poke in one place, and he sees like I poke in another), and nothing can be done as a result. I read here that sometimes it happens that he sees the screen as upside down and you need to change the setting there, but for this you need to have USB Debugging enabled, which I can’t do from the phone. At the moment I see that there are two options:
a) generate an update script and upload it via revovery mode from a flash drive. I don't know if this is possible without root rights.
b) repack system.img in firmware with USB Debugging enabled. For some reason, it didn’t work out, or rather, it didn’t pack correctly.
Please tell me which option is better and if possible, then some kind of clearly-adequate tutorial on it (ideally under Linux). Thanks in advance!
UPD: option b) turned out to be done, but did not help, because when connected to a computer, it issues a request on the sensor, which I cannot confirm ...
