How to make SSRS report "beautiful" in excel?

Good day!
There is a report that looks adequate and good when exported, but when exported to Excel, a bunch of unnecessary columns appear, often empty, text that should be in one is in two, and so on.
Is there a way to specify hard formatting when exporting to Excel?
uploading in other formats is not important.
Everything works on server 2008R2 I make a report through Visual Studio 2008 I
