How to make old laptop hardware play video without brakes?

Thank you all for your attention. And so, there is an old netbook.
cpu: intel u7500 dual core 1.06ghz ram
: 2gb
video: intel gm945 !!!
The task is to play YouTube and Internet video resources at least in 480p quality.
I tried the h264ify extension, there is no difference with the vp9 codec at all in terms of frame skipping, what's there, what's there in 480p, a jerky picture. I tried the extension of the pot player, so it's quite a disaster - the video is also twitchy, but in addition the sound is ahead.
The driver tried both the latest official and the mod from chery, does not affect in any way.
When playing video - under 100 percent loaded.

As far as I understand, the integrated vidyushka does not want to participate in any playback.

Craftsmen make even 1-core HD video machines play normally, how? I'm just confused ... I'm waiting for advice, all the best!

For old pieces of iron and the Internet with YouTube, the Palemoon browser helps with varying degrees of success.
However, the processor will heat up and consume current, you must be sure that the old piece of iron will withstand strong heat and load at the end of life.

All that this silicon box can decode in hardware is MPEG2 . So sorry, literally, there will be no kin.

In such a situation, installing the h264ify extension in Google Chrome saved me Try it!
You can overclock the processor.

hmm .. it's strange that gma 950 or x3100 usually comes with this miracle ..
but alas, all you can do is put up with the resolution and the soft codec that will give acceptable performance. or look for ways to change the processor to a more productive one (if the laptop's CO allows you to do this without overheating)
