Is there an option to run Skype on Windows XP?

Is there an option to run Skype on Windows XP?
No, I understand that it was high time to update the OS, but I don’t have it and I won’t be there in the coming weeks.
It costs Skype 7.36.0.150 - flew out and that's it, now it does not connect.
I saw instructions for adding support for AES-256, but I tried it on a virtual machine - This version of Skype is no longer supported, blah blah, update the OS.
Are there any moderately perverted ways to start?
And not in moderation?

You can try to install the latest version of Chrome browser available for Windows XP and open the web version of Skype in it.
