How to make numbers in OS X display instead of (rub) = ₽?

Tell colleagues how can I get instead of "rub." here is the ₽ symbol.
The font I use is Helvetica Neue. There is such a character in the font.
In the global poppy settings - currency: Russian ruble (₽).
When choosing a currency in Numbers - currency: Russian ruble (RUB)
how to defeat this rake?

Method 1
Select "Custom format" in the cell settings, create your own, you want ₽, you want intergalactic currency.
Use Pages , it works out of the box (at least for me)
