I see no reason to display one post from different (certain) categories.
Create a category for this slide.
Install this plugin www.advancedcustomfields.com
With it you can add more fields for your category.
Additional field output <?php the_field('sub_heading'); ?>
where 'sub_heading'is the name of the additional field.
And loop through all the posts from this category for the slider.
