How to make multilevel (submenu) menu in ionic?

There is a project on Ionic Framework created by "ionic start sidemenu".
I am new to this framework and my knowledge of Angular is not very good.
I'm trying to make it so that when you click on an item in the menu, another menu opens, that is, a subcategory, with the ability to go back, nesting should be essentially any.
Sub-items should open exactly overlapping the entire main menu, that is, in fact, this is a new menu.
I made a second menu template with different items - theoretically it could be opened via a link somehow.
