How to make Max not freeze until the script is completed?

I make a progress bar for the execution of one cycle, everything works including the bar for the first seconds, and then freezes until the script is completed ... and the bar is "sharply" assigned 100%.
How to implement asynchronous/background/thread code execution in MaxScript ?
