How to make it work correctly on full Intel HD 3000 and Nvidia Quadro 2000M?
Hello, the root of the problem. I have a Dell Precision 4600. This beast has an Intel HD 3000 and a Quadro 2000M on board. I read that at first we put everything that c percent / mat., later the firewood of the integrated video card, then Nvidia. It seems to work, but I did not check the capabilities of the cards as well as the capabilities of the CUDA / Intel Quick Sync technology.
I decided to get to know CUDA better, downloaded ToolKit (not the top one, version 6) and when installing Dorava went out. ToolKit's top notch didn't work either. It did not work to restore, I tried to demolish all the firewood and gradually install it, it’s not installed for the life of me.
I'm already silent about Intel Quick Sync Video, if you read manuals from Intel (i7-2860QM processor), then tech. should be supported and work, but to my regret it does not work out to activate this miracle. Once in some encoder (with nVidia disabled in the dispatcher), an opportunity arose (the encoder admitted that IQS exists), but it did not work out to use the vaunted capabilities of Intel, Fatal Error.
Therefore, the question is, can anyone have such a beast and can share the wisdom of tuning?
PS On Linux, CUDA has earned, well, more precisely, demos that use this technology. Coding has not sat down under nix yet. I want to understand how to overcome the problem in Win'de.
There is also a suspicion that the wrong chipset and IEM firewood were delivered (but this is a hypothesis).
OS Win 8.1. x64.
Thanks in advance.
