There was a need to make the Internet on a merchant ship. But internet at sea is expensive. And according to the convention, the crew is entitled to access at least 1.5 hours to social networks for communication.
I would like to implement this principle: the Internet comes to the server computer, from which it is already on access points. On the northern computer, there would be an http face in which the user could enter his password, and he would start counting down the time. At any time, if you need to disconnect, and then continue. Once a day to reset the counter. And the binding was to the mac address.
It is also necessary to limit the speed, and block all sites except for a couple of dozens of allowed ones.
