How to make high-quality sound recording from a laptop?

I need to record video using the on-screen camera. I bought a program for recording, everything is fine, only the sound is not very good (my voice is not very good and the noise of the cooler is very audible). The first time I recorded on a standard laptop microphone. Then I bought an inexpensive usb microphone, the quality was not much better, but still not the same. Maybe someone knows how to make the sound recording more or less quality? Maybe buy some good microphone (I don't know which one) or install some software?

If the quality is so different and you can hear the difference, then you will need an external sound card and a studio microphone anyway.
Perhaps it will be easier and cheaper to get any stationary computer (not a laptop) and plug a normal sound card into it. Some kind of Audigy II now costs a penny, but the sound will succumb strongly.
