How to play browser sound in Win7 via ASIO?

In Windows, all sounds from the browser (as well as many other programs) are forced to follow through the regular mixer, which significantly spoils the sound quality. Are there any ways to send sound directly to the audio via ASIO? Card with native ASIO.

The browser is the slave in this case (correct me if this is my misunderstanding). You can use the card as the default playback device (in the Sound menu) if it is displayed in it.
IMHO, in order to find the best sound, it is worth moving from the browser to special players and lossless formats.
