How to make fonts on a mac look like in Windows?

How to make fonts on a mac look like in Windows? I really like how they look in Windows XP, but can I do this in a Mac?

What does a weak monitor mean? I have LG 22MP55 - everything is fine. Font rendering is much nicer than in Windows.

On a Mac, fonts will never look the same as on Windows, systems use slightly different anti-aliasing technologies. Perhaps you just need to uncheck Use LCD font smoothing on the general tab in system preferences. This is more a matter of habit, for me, on Windows, fonts seem too light and coarse by default, I recalibrate several times. Look for Pavel Shi's article "Managing font smoothing in OS X" to play with anti-aliasing on the Mac side

This is a standard glitch. OS X thinks the monitor is a TV and uses YCbCr instead of RGB for it. Here is a guide that should help.
