How to make Firefox remember passwords on https sites?

I found a solution with the nsLoginManager.js file, but apparently this is for older versions.

I use SecureLogin to fill in saved passwords and Saved Password Editor to help Fox with those forms where the standard password remembering mechanism fails.

Tried KeePass, SecureLogin, and LastPass. The latter has become one of the most convenient and necessary plugins that I have ever installed on Lisa.
Try LastPass, you'll love it!
