How to make Finder show RAID in the list of connected devices?

Good afternoon!
There is a montage with Mac OS X 10.8.5 (BuildVersion: 12F45) pre-installed.
RAID connected to it: Areca ARC-1223, mounted in /Volumes/RAID:
root# diskutil list | grep disk4
/dev/disk4
0: GUID_partition_scheme *21.0 TB disk4
1: EFI 209.7 MB disk4s1
2: Apple_HFS RAID 21.0 TB disk4s2
root# mount | grep RAID
/dev/disk4s2 on /Volumes/RAID (hfs, local, nodev, nosuid, journaled, noowners)
root# ls -al /Volumes/ |grep RAID
[email protected] 33 _unknown _unknown 1190 Oct 6 10:24 RAID
root# diskutil info disk4s2
Device Identifier: disk4s2
Device Node: /dev/disk4s2
Part of Whole: disk4
Device / Media Name: Apple_HFS_Untitled_2
Volume Name: RAID
Escaped with Unicode: RAID

Owners: Disabled
Partition Type: Apple_HFS

The problem is that the Finder does not see the RAID as a separate device connected to Mac OS X, which makes it difficult to use it: while programs are saving data to it, programs do not see it, for example, in Final Cut Pro.
How to make Finder show RAID in the list of connected devices?
What to check\correct\do to achieve the goal?

@coocorn

The issue was resolved on my own.
Ran the command '#ls -alO /Volumes'. All data attributes of the /Volumes directory are displayed.
The 'hidden' attribute was set near the RAID.
Ran the command 'chflags nohidden /Volumes/RAID'.
Rebooting the Finder didn't work, but a fresh start of the system showed the attached RAID in the Finder's sidebar.
