How to make ESXI see RAID1 and HDD?
Hello everybody. There is a Supermicro X9SCL/X9SCM server. Intel Xeon E3-1270V2. Adaptec 6805 RAID controller. ESXI 5.5 is installed on it - release 1331820. RAID1 - 2 pcs. (HDD - 2x2Tb - reserve, so to speak, and 2x500Gb - the main RAID on which ESXi and VM are spinning). There was a need to transfer the main raid to the new Intel SSD 900Gb. I threw the SSD to the same server, the raid controller saw the disks, created 1RAID. ESXi distributions (from version 5.5 to 6.7) were downloaded and written to blanks in advance. I wanted to cleanly install ESXI and transfer the VM with a template. I insert the disk with the image, the download starts, I confirm the license agreement and a window pops up with the choice "Which disk to install on?" and everything is empty in the window, the installer does not see a new SSDRAID1, a working RAID, or any other HDD. Tried versions from 5.5 to 6.7. all the same. Through ESXi-Customizer I added drivers for the raid controller to the image - the result is the same. What could be the matter and where to dig further?
