How to make columns?
I need new speakers now, but I don’t want a tweeter, and something more or less intelligible is completely indistinct.
And that's what I thought - after all, I can make a box out of plywood, cut holes, sheathe it with felt and glue it with an oracal. And put speakers in there. For the price, it should turn out very clearly, and it is clearly better in quality.
I want something like this: cherkassy.chk.olx.ua/uk/obyavlenie/dinamiki-3gdsh-...
BUT, I don’t understand anything about it all, and I think there may be many nuances that someone could explain, or even somewhere it is considered?
For example, different Ohms and Kilowatts, low-frequency and high-frequency, box material, lining inside and outside. Different manufacturers of the speakers themselves cost differently - how to determine the quality, and in general what speakers are, in order to understand which ones I need in general. Well, and so on - you need at least the basics first, in order to put all the information on the shelves so that you know on which shelf what information is in order to dig it deeper. And then after all, I don’t even know yet what information on them MAY be for study.
I think it's not so simple here - buy speakers at the link, glue the box and hello - I understand that there is a lot of things that I don't suspect anything about existence.
But I also understand that someone teaches such information somewhere.
However, I would like a concise and systematized one, in order to review the basics, and already at a minimum to consciously know this issue.

25AC-109 will be easier, cheaper and better than "make a box out of plywood, cut holes, sheathe it with felt." Plus, the kit includes an old soviet amp and neighbors can hang themselves. There was a book specifically on the design of speakers, but now I can’t find it right away :-(
There are a lot of audio forums. Klyachinsky, Vegalab, Datagor, SoundHighFai, and half a dozen more ... You go there.
This is if you want to master the topic.
And if you want to make competitors out of Mr. and sticks to Chinese cheap speakers, forget it right away. I'll tell you from experience - spend much more time than these speakers cost.
Although, by the way, it is quite possible to make nice desktop speakers for a computer from 3GDSh of those - but no more. I recently did it myself - I tore the amp out of the old Soviet "boombox".
