How to make changes from docker-compose apply?

Something I'm already confused ..... after changes in docker-compose, what should be done to make them change?
Do you need to reload the corresponding service or container
, or do all services docker-compose restart ?
or docker-compose up -d --force-recreate or pull docker-compose build every time?
