How to make an extruded cut in a ball in SolidWorks?

The item "extruded cut" is not available. I made a contour stretching in order to subtract it from the ball later - the points for working with this are also not available. Version: 2013.

Create an auxiliary plane if the existing ones do not fit; on this plane, create a sketch with a contour for an elongated cutout and, in fact, cut: "through", "from the middle plane", "in two directions" - as you prefer.
