How to make AHCI friends with Windows XP?

Windows XP, Service Pack 3. Motherboard: Asus P5Q PRO. I downloaded the drivers from the official site for AHCI. I install - writes that everything is ok. I'm trying to enable AHCI mode in the BIOS, and I get BSODs (however, as well as attempts without AHCI drivers)
UPD: An important point. ALREADY installed Windows is implied!
I install AHCI drivers - manual installation is just what is meant (through the device manager)

1. Turn on the BIOS - IDE MODE
2. Load Windows XP, go to the device manager, find your IDE controller, for example ICH9 and start the procedure for MANUAL driver change (UPDATE). Specify the folder with the drivers (install from disk), then uncheck the "only compatible" checkbox and select the ACHI controller. Then reboot the computer, go into the BIOS and set ACHI.
If it does not work out, then do the same in Save Mode.
If this does not work out, then there is a difficult option with editing the inf file of the driver .

You must first turn on ACHI, and only then install Windows. Perhaps the drivers will have to be integrated into the distribution.
