How to make a wifi repeater on OpenWrt?

I have a portable WiFi router with OpenWrt installed.
There is an access point to which the router must connect itself, even if the connection is broken, and the end device must connect to the router and, among other things, still work with udp traffic.
Can you please provide me a clear tutorial on this subject.

Just turn on the repeater. The rest should work by itself.
