How to make a vacuum cleaner with Arduino?

Recently, I really want to make a vacuum cleaner that will drive around the apartment and clean up on its own :) What kind of arduino is needed for this?
ps with robotics did not come across

The vacuum cleaner is a rather large device, almost any arduino board will fit. You will have more problems with the body and mechanics than with the software part.

Do you want to hang this functionality on a standard vacuum cleaner, or assemble a vacuum cleaner from scratch? It just seems to me that it is very problematic to hang an adruin on any household vacuum cleaner - it heats up quite a bit inside + there is not enough space for any engines (and a vacuum cleaner is not an easy thing).
