What libraries do you know for Serial in Arduino?

I went through the Internet, found several libraries for Serial. Something does not work, something is too tailored to the needs of the person who wrote the library.
I want to find a library that implements the rs232 data exchange protocol.
Ideally, I would like to send something like callback,arguments[....]; to the arduino. and receive a response of type int,100;
If someone uses similar libraries, I will be glad to try.
