How to make a slider for different image sizes?

Good morning and delicious coffee.
There is a Bootstrap slider like here
. But the images should be inserted into it from 10x2000 to 2000x10 i.e. the slider part will be empty anyway.
I tried making height 100%; auto-width; overflow hidden. So that the picture always has its own height and the width is cut off. But the page starts to twitch when the slider transitions due to the change in height.

Question. Which slider to take so that:
1. Images of different sizes are displayed normally
2. When you click on the image, the original opens in a modal window (now made on Bootstrap modal)
3. So that all this works on mobile phones under the touch
4. There was a preview of all the pictures below.
5. Light weight and fast operation.
6. Ideally, a video could be added. I see wowslider.com/ru,

but it’s monstrous and the site is small, everything is loaded on the fly, I’m afraid that it will slow down the display loading process.
