How to make a script that executes tasks on time?
I do automatic control of New Year's illumination. In short, there is a Python script that parses the excel file of the work schedule for three groups of garlands. Those. the script I have as a result has the date and time of turning on / off each group of the garland. For example, he knows that group A should turn on on 12/25/2021 at 17:00:00 , and turn off on 12/25/2021 at 23:00:00 . And so on for each group and for each day of work. The script has a clear on/off information. I hope I explained clearly.)
So I just need to make some kind of scheduler that will send mqtt commands to the server at the right time. Those. the script pulled information from the chart that group A should turn on on 12/25/2021 at 17:00:00, and immediately scored it in the scheduler. It turns out that through the cycle you need to add tasks there.
How to do it? What to use?
