How to make a request to a server from localhost?

I have a phonegap application and an object comes from the server, I would do some kind of javascript wardump, but there is no such thing, so the console.log will suit me, but it doesn’t exist on the phone, so I need to run js from the browser through node.gs and with localhost:port address the server, how to do it? maybe somehow especially the browser to configure or something else?
