How to make a node.js utility for connecting via ssh?

I want to write a js utility to open an ssh connection in the ubuntu terminal. It's trivial on bash, but I want js to run with node.js.
You need to be able to run a utility like `./my_ssh` and stay in the terminal, but with an active ssh connection

There is a wonderful ssh2 module and a wrapper for it.
