I can’t say that my answer will be correct, because I have only read the documentation on DLE, there are no projects of my own yet.
{custom from="9" limit="5"} - displays 5 latest news, starting from the tenth news. Maybe you just need to pay attention to from. Information from here: dle-news.ru/extras/online/index.html?startnews.html
