How to make a catalog for a company?

Please tell me what is the best way to make a website that consists of
- Multilanguage (3 languages)
- News
- Product catalog (some categories with pictures, i.e. picture and description, and some just a table with the name of the product and characteristics)
They suggested that you can use WordPress, but I never worked with it, so I don’t even know if there are some plugins for this or will I need to add it myself?

IMHO, MVC-based self-writing is best for such projects. No off-the-shelf solutions will provide the necessary flexibility and at the same time good performance in a compartment.

I agree with timofeev about self-writing, perhaps the best option, especially since for many frameworks there are a bunch of add-ons for an online store and you can raise it from scratch quite quickly.
but if you want a CMS, then take a CMS specialized for an online store, for example: opencart, 1C-Bitrix, PHPShop, etc.

It would be interesting to know - what did you work with?
On WP it is quite easy to implement. News - built-in, multilingual - there are a lot of plug-ins, Catalog - similarly.

Joomla + Zoo - directory. Multilanguage and news sections are built into Joomla.

If your choice falls on wordpress, I can advise woocommerce to add to it .

I made a product catalog (though without multilingualism) on Pimcore. The engine is specifically used as a PIM (Product Information Manager). An example is eukanuba.ee. The main thing is that it has its own full-text search based on Zend_lucene, and for information catalogs such a search is very useful.

Prestashop is doing well with multilingualism and a catalog. For news, you must either install the module, or do it yourself.
