How to make a cable outlet from the cabinet to the ceiling?

There is an HP server cabinet, with a hole for a cable outlet measuring approximately 33.5x8.5cm. Above the cabinet at a distance of about 40-50 cm suspended ceiling.

I've been breaking my head for a week - I can't figure out how to connect the ceiling and the cable outlet. Those. so that the wires from the cabinet to the ceiling are hidden in some kind of cable channel. I couldn't find anything suitable in the local shops. There was a thought - maybe I'm looking for it wrong?

One of the solutions that came to mind was to order somewhere the manufacture of a suitable metal box ...

why metal box? what's wrong with plastics?

Screw a metal rail between the cabinet and the ceiling, and attach a standard plastic box to it.
