How to make a burnout device with Arduino?

Hello.
I want to assemble a device for laser burning on wood (if possible on metal, glass and plastic), in which you can upload (maybe through third-party software) a file (*.jpeg, *.png, *.cdr, *.ai) and the device will knock out it on the desired surface. I am looking for detailed instructions for the collection and with a complete list of components. I saw ready-made solutions, but I lost the links. I also found a couple of projects on the net, but they are either without Arduino sketches, without explanations or in a foreign language.
I would appreciate any information on this!

Considering the requirements, less than the same 600 euros will still not work, I have already tried to make a self-propelled gun, either something very weak, terribly slow and hardly "set fire" to wood or black plastic, or a lot of money is needed. Reasons:
1. A powerful laser (very powerful is needed for metal) is expensive.
2. good steppers are expensive (Chinese ones for 50 rubles each are complete crap, because they are sooooo slow, one "drawing" will cost 12 hours)
3. even if it seems that it will be cheaper after you collect everything, you stumble upon stones, you change half etc. in the end it will be the same 600 euros
