How to make a backup of the entire Linux system?
Good afternoon. I want to learn how to make a full backup of the entire Linux system to another hard drive. What tools to use for this, so that if necessary, you can restore all files not only to the original computer, but also to a completely different one from the one on which the backup was made. I look towards rsync and its GUI implementation of grsync. I don't know if recovery will work on other hardware. What can you advise?
A small addition:
- For normal snapshots I use TimeShift, it will not replace a full-fledged backup
- I would like software with a GUI and not through the terminal
- Preferably software with incremental backup support, when after the first FULL backup, all other copies will be created only with modified files
