Has anyone been able to implement the sssd + samba scheme in a Linux system? the task is necessary that I could authorize on the domain account on a samba.
Here is my config:
[global]
realm = domain.lan
server string Samba Server %v
workgroup = domain
log file = /var/log/samba/log.%m
max log size = 50
kerberos method = secrets and keytab
security = ADS
idmap config * : range = 12000 - 20000
idmap config nes.lan : range = 90000 - 99999
idmap config nes.lan : backend = tdb
client signing = yes
client use spnego = yes
[Backup_new]
path = /backup/samba
browsable = Yes
writable = Yes
readonly = No
#guest ok = No
valid users = my user

The use of sssd is not recommended and is not supported by the samba developers. By the way, a great built-in winbind tool that does an excellent job with this. https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Setting_up_Samba_...
