Before, when I downloaded a bunch of fonts and threw them into the Windows / Fonts folder, after which the computer began to hang and very much, they taught me to be more correct with them (fonts) and advised the NexusFont program, which is simple in this matter excellent.
Now I'm facing the same problem in Adobe Photoshop. In the folder C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC (64 Bit)\Presets\Brushes I have loaded a lot of brushes, more than 1000 pcs.
And accordingly, Adobe Photoshop began to open for a very long time and often hang on the inscription Reading brushes .
Fellow geeks, what would you advise to do with this. Maybe there is some kind of program that will download brushes for me, then when I need it, etc.

It was correctly said above, an SSD would probably solve the problem. I keep Photoshop on an SSD and can't feel it without it. Do not turn off Ps, you will not need to load brushes. Put in autoload Ps by time ..
