How to limit the size of Time machine image in Time capsule?

There is a capsule, version 7.7.8 and a macbook with OS 10.12.3
Does anyone know how to limit the maximum size of the time machine backup so that the floor of the capsule can be used for file cleaning?
Maybe you can force the time machine to store not all weekly copies, but, for example, only for the last couple of months?
