How to limit the session length on a terminal server?

The company has a terminal server. Windows 2012 R2. He is in the domain. The domain is also Windows 2012 R2. Group policies are used. About 30 users are constantly working on the server. The problem is that many users simply forget about the need to exit the terminal session correctly. Because of this, in specialized software that is used for work, errors are constantly coming out (not the point, the fact is errors because of this).
Actually, the question is how to set the group policies to end the session of disconnected users after a specified time, for example, half an hour?
UPD:
I set it up like this. Computer Configuration - Policies - Administrative Templates - Windows Components - Remote Desktop Services - Remote Desktop Session Host - Session Timeout. And there:

  • Set a time limit for active sessions - Enabled - ends a disconnected session in 30 minutes
  • Set time limit for active but idle Remote Desktop Services sessions - Enabled 30 minutes
  • End session when time limit is reached - Enabled

Does not work
