How to limit stress?

Hello! There was a similar problem. In my case, it is necessary to make a voltage limiter for the upper level in the region of 4V, with the possibility of adjustment. This is necessary to remove the fuel cut-off when the air pressure in the turbo engines is exceeded. There is an air pressure sensor with an output voltage range of 1-4.5V, this signal is sent to the engine control unit, and if the value is exceeded by about 4V, the control unit turns off the fuel supply, which we want to avoid. to do this, you need to add a voltage limiter to the circuit between the sensor and the control unit, which will freely pass voltage up to 4V, and limit it if it is exceeded. I don't know much about electrical circuits, so I need your help...

It is better to fix the firmware for the brains (or change the brains) than to collective farm like this.
There is a risk of burning the sensor output

Well, do not forget that both the zener diode and the TL431 have a "kink" characteristic that is not sharp.
