Purpose of DIP switches in circuitry?
You often see the presence of microswitches on control boards. This may be a pumping station control unit and a fire and security alarm control unit. Microswitches are also removable in the form of plates. What role do they play? For example, they serve the microcontroller "0" or "1". Or they have a different meaning, such as turning on / off the electrical circuits of the load.

Usually this is a service switching of the operating modes of the board or microcontroller. For example, transferring rewritable memory to write mode. Or changing the processor supply voltage, memory frequency, if, say, you look at motherboards.
