What is a terminal (what hardware)? What physical interfaces does the terminal have? And then maybe there is nowhere to attach something to the terminal.
So, all you need is a voltmeter that gives readings through some kind of digital interface.
There is a ready-made thing that you just connect to the battery and you're done. But expensive! :) This is a car alarm system with GSM. Any modern alarm system can show battery voltage - this is the only function that is required of it.
