How to keep the added noise when compressed with the x264 codec and on youtube?
Good afternoon, I added noise from 35 mm film to the finished clip to make it grainy and realistic.

Everything is fine at a high bitrate for HD1080 from 20000
, but it is possible to save noise if the bitrate is lower...
maybe the codec just stupidly tries to remove it, and it remains ugly in places only or it’s not visible at all
