Windows Server 2022 Insider Preview does not run on VMware Workstation and VirtualBox virtual machines. In principle, the server works very well, but if you install RemoteApp RDS services and Active Directory Domain Services, the server crashes with a blue screen into random errors. Moreover, separately, the terminal server and the domain controller on Windows Server 2022 work well, but not together.
How to properly install Windows Server 2022?!

Let's start with:
1) What's wrong with the stable version of 2019? Specifically, without general phrases.
2)RDS+AD on the same server is not a supported configuration and bad practice. Microsoft used it himself writes, unfortunately I can’t find the link.
IMHO: I don't think there is anything new in the Windows Server 2022 Insider Preview.

Winda writes about the bad practice of AD + RDS directly during the deployment of the role. And if the TS has a virtual environment, then it’s generally unclear what religion prevents you from deploying two different machines with different roles.
