How to install windows 8.1 on a laptop with ubuntu 14 (only two separate hard drives)?

The laptop has two hard drives ssd and hdd, ubuntu is on ssd, the last one is 14.04 ... I want to install windows 8.1 on hdd. BUT, as I understand it, there are some problems with the bootloader ... How is it more convenient to do this so that you don’t have to delete everything and install windows first and then ubuntu? There are no important files on the computer.

I have already solved the problem. I pulled out the ssd and installed Windows separately on the hard drive, then put everything together. But after that, Windows did not start through the bootloader. I went to ubuntu, updated the bootloader and everything worked fine.

On two different physical disks, there will be no particular problems. After installing Windows, update the grub configuration in Ubuntu (something like sudo grub-update), set the BIOS to boot from ssd, and you will be happy.

Windows will automatically find the installed operating systems and add them to its bootloader.
